Change oil after seafoam treatment?

I used seafoam in my pickup this past weekend. I very slowly poured it directly into the throttle body with the engine reved to about 2000rpms. Do I now need to change the oil soon? I've heard people saying to change it within so many miles after a seafoam treatment. Does this hold true with the method that I used?

How dirty did it make your oil?

When I did my 99 last month, it turned the oil black from all the gunk it washed down past the rings. But that truck has 208K miles on it!!! Runs great though!!!!

Yes this is a late post to this topic and hopefully you changed the oil after the Sea Foam treatment. It does wash down past the rings and will weaken the oil. Terry Dyson from Dyson Analysis does all my oil reports and I used the Sea Foam in a friends high mileage Fiesta. Terry said it works well, but you need to make sure you change out the oil with in at least 500 miles because it gets contaminated by the Sea Foam.
