Here is what I pulled from another site.  It does about everything I like especially the fuel economy stuff.  I know these trucks share alot of their communication bus structure so maybe the right info is in the Av and it just needs something like this computer to make sense of it all.

"Trip Computer readouts for Personal and Business Trip Odometers, Annual Mileage Data, Average and Instant Fuel Economy, Range on Remaining Fuel and Day Date and Time all displayed in French, English, Spanish or Arabic."

You should proabably talk to Jason Pendlum about this.  I think he looked into it, and found out there was a lot involved with it.  I could be wrong though, but he could help out a lot with more info.

Hey Guys, I did some more research and it is possible, at least the MPG and trip computer parts of the computer. There's a lot more options like changing the locks and other personal settings that is controlled through the menu button. I'm trying to get my hands on one so I can check it out, but it is possible.

I'll let everyone know once I'm able to get one to play with.

I looked in my collision repair estimate book a few months ago wondering the same thing.  It's listed as a whole "custom console" for use in the C3 and Escalade/Denali.  It costs 1500 bucks.  Plus who knows if there's even a wiring harness for the thing up in the dash or not?  I wouldn't persue it.

You have to make your own wire harness. You just have to tap into a few existing wires. As soon as I get my hands on one, I'll let everyone know how to install them.

What is that circular thing on the right of the console, a clock?  Remeinds me of mom and dad's old '70 Mach I Mustang that had a big cicular clock on the passenger side of the dash.  I want to say it was on, or above the glove box door, but can't remember.  I was only 10 when they sold it.

Yep thats an analog clock.  CTS has got one too but I heard that it might get replaced with another regular gauge.  The trip computer on the EXT probably uses information found on the class 2 bus they got in most of the vehicles.  I hoping Jason gets his hands on one and finds that maybe all the info needed for this computer is available generically on some the vehicles with the Class 2 bus.  Wiring should be pretty simple if it just processes information.  Probably only need power, ground, and Class 2.

I wonder if I can fit a DVD player in that lil CD player slot under the Information Display

Thats a 6 disc changer in there right now.  So its thick enough to hold 6 discs.  So thickness shouldn't be a problem.  The changer audio is gonna interface to the radio somehow but not sure how you trigger it to switch over to the DVD.
