Avalanche Lift

I saw that some of you have done this mod. What would this roughly cost just for the lift. Could you upgrade to the 305 tires on the stock rims or would it just look ridiculous?

Look in the pic post section. BradyB has info about his avy w/ the 3" body lift. I think it was about 200 for the kit and 400 for the install. He fits 305's w/a little rubbing at full crank.

I looked at my receipt and it was $750 for both the lift and labor.

About the wheels, the stock wheels that I had were only 16x7's, the wheels I have now are 16x10's. For Wrangler MTR's you will at least need a 8 inch wheel in order to fit a 305. It will probably look cool with super fat tires but there is probably a good reason why goodyear dosen't want you to use anything less then an 8 inch rim. I wouldn't recommend a 16x10 wheel, you have to deal with too much offset. The only reason I got 16x10's was so I could upgrade to 35's or maybe even 37's later on.
