2WD 2001 Excab Silverado. I just got done lubing my truck, three fittings on both the right front and left front. Am I missing any? I saw what looked to be a fitting on the drive shaft near the rear. :seeya:

Four on each side on the front + three on the centerlink/related steering gear, and the one on your driveshaft.

There is an article in the tech section of this website that gives pictures of all the fittings on the front and detailed locations.

I think 4x4s have more than 4x2s. The tech article refers to a 4x4.

All I've ever been able to find on my 4x2 Extended Cab are two Ball Joints (upper and lower) and one Tierod End behind both front wheels, then the one on the mid-section of the driveshaft, for a total of seven. 2wd doesn't have as many as 4wd, as far as I can tell.
