How's it goin fellas?

 

I'm new here.........from Fla, but live in TN..

 

I just got a 93 Chevy K1500 WT Cheyenne....... 4x4, 4.3 6cyl., 5spd, long bed.

 

I bought it as a beater, to replace my Toyota (nice truck, but had to payoff some credit cards). I've planned on keeping it for only a year or two, until my wife graduates nursing school, and then get something else.

However, i like it pretty well, so far. I might end up keeping it as a knock around truck.

It has a really straight body, and a pretty descent motor. The interior is pretty good too.

 

I'm on here to find out what all i should expect out of this motor, and what all my options are to upgrade the truck.

The 4.3-V6 is a darn good reliable motor,Keep the oil changed and you'll be allright
