Factory Warranty Question

Does adjusting your torsion bar void the factory warranty? I have an 05 Sierra Z71 and am considering doing this, just wondering if it would void the warranty...

I'm not sure how they would know if you tweeked them a little, unless they looked and saw that you bottomed out the bolts. I have adjusted mine on all 3 of my last trucks and never had a warranty issue because of it.

It is a good recommendation to get an alignment for the front end, if you adjust them very far.

I measured how far the bolts stuck out from the factory.

I then got green keys, cranked the bolts in to match the factory mark I had and ended up with the front only 1/8" lower than the rear. It's leveled 100%, and if you look under the truck, it looks factory. I also removed the green marks on the keys...

by increasing the height of the truck using the torsion bars, wouldn't the stock shocks need replacing as well if the travel is pulled further back?

Along that note, how does this effect the ride, since the front springs are now streched out also?

Springs aren't "stretched out" just relative postion changed. Yes longer shocks are recommended with major adjustments, I only raised mine to almost level and the factory shocks were fine.
