Newbie in Iraq

What's going on people, I don't know how I found this site but I'm glad I did! I am currently stationed in Iraq and am without my GM P/U , I should be back to the states in June 06 and then the mods will continue on my truck, just wanted to say love the site and talk to yo guys later

Well let me just start by saying thanks for all support, I am in the U.S. ARMY and as far as unfiltered news of how it is...some stuff you see on TV is accurate and the thier is other stuff they don't show. In the 6 months I'be been here I was scared for my life on 2 occasions, that doesn't mean that is not bad things happening here because thier is. But on the bright side my unit is on the downward slope of the deployment so we'll be home soon...and then I can drive my truck

Continue to keep your head down and be safe over there. I spent quite a few months over there myself with tours in Afganstan and Iraq. Have retired now but still do worry about my brothers/sisters who are still serving. Keep up the good work and we all are here for you.
