line-x or rhino? i've had line-x it did just fine, maybe a little hard & slick. thinking about trying a rhino. seems to be more rubbery.what's you all's opinion? and what about spraying to match truck color? will it fade? I sure need some help..........

I'm going with a bed mat for starters.

Just don't like the way the spray in's look on a NEW truck.

Besides I don't think my golf clubs will hurt the bed too much.

Another brand worth considering is Arma Coatings.

Remember the liner is only as good as the installer, so look at his work and talk to some of his customers...

I got mine done at arma coatings, great price and great job. The bedliner has a full warranty against knicks and scratches (which it's yet to recieve).

I first had an appt. at a rhino linings place, but I showed up and saw the guys personal truck and the corners of the bedliner on the over the rail were very sloppy.  So, like shane said, it's only as good as the installer.  And if that's what he does on his own truck forget that.

Arma coatings is a rough texture, but not overly rough that it's noticeable.  It keeps stuff from skidding very well.

i have a rhino and have no problems or issues with it.  It does exactly iwhat i got it to do

Another vote for Rhino here.  It's thicker and a bit rubbery so it does a good job of stopping the banging and sliding when you've got stuff back there.  The others may be just as good.  I haven't had any of the others.

I was thinking about a Line-x as well.  Anyone had one for more than a year or 2 (the longer the better)  I'm sure all of them hold up well for a while.  What about the long haul?

Another vote for Rhino! I have had mine for over 2 years and it has held up very well. The only problem I had was it started to fade but Ryan told me about Rhino Shine and now it looks brand new! :D Thanks again Ryan :D

How about these do it yourself kits, I think the name was Hurculean???? Are they skid resistant and how thick are they after they are applied? When I got the price (from a friend no less) of the Line X I went into shock and kept the drop in liner.

if you have a tuff dealer bye you i highly recamend them. we put yours threw #### and it works great. we had to replace the one of the F250 from all of the barals of feed. but it comes with a life time warenty so we got it for free. they are great and it really is done perfetionaly.

It really depends on the loads you plan on hauling.  I wouldn't own a permatex liner if you gave me one.  The rhino has excellent skid protection but the trade off is it cuts easily, under heavy construction use.  The line x is harder which offers better puncture resistance but is slicker than the rhino thus tools move around more....either is a good liner.

I have a Rhino.  I have only used it to haul lumber, Cinder blocks, and a Deep Freezer, but I am very pleased.  You can see it in the pics Tom posted for me(thanks again Tom).

I'm happy with my Duraliner.  Thinner than the Rhino, but it has a good grip,  cinder blocks and fencing materials haven't put a nick in it.

It's "Herculiner", and if you're planning on using it, there are some precautions you should take.  I know it's been posted before, but if you haven't seen it and you have some time, Herculiner Thread   :D
