so this Z28 was messing with my friends....

well she only had about 1300 miles on her, but I HAD too, it was one of those moments....

I was telling my buddies about this girl in a civic that "raced" me when I was in my BMW one day, but I wasn't racing.....she runs a red light I....get this.... actually stop for it, and she signals victory.....what a ricer....

so me and my friends are driving down I 44 and they are leap frogging me in my 69 and then flashing thier hazards.......some goons in a LT1 Z28 think my friends were lietterally racing and beating me, they were in a 1998 3000GT 5-speed; 2000 Dakota R/T 5.9; 1992 GMC 2500 350; 98 Nissan frontier......so the guys in the Z28 think I actually lost so they line up and I don't go.....motors only got 1,300 ya know, there'a a 50/50 shot its broken in yet (since I had breaking it in very well, mostly highway, with still some city, various RPM's and throttle, always let it warm up a lot).

But then I get hacked off, cause they are messing with my buddies...I pull up to my friend in the R/T, and he's like "GO GET'EM BLAKE!" so I do. I line up blip the throttlle to let them know, then floor it from about 50, so I figured this wouldn'yt be TOO bad on the motor. She did FINE!!!! hehehe, I walked away from that Z28 so fast I thought she didn't even go. when we finally get where we were heaidng to, my frineding almost fall out of their cars laughing. at first I thought I had done something, but then they told me : DUDE! YOU KIIIILLLLLLED those guys. about 2 seconds in they just gave up (at which point they were a good 4 CL's back)....after that they drifited behind us and didn't come close again.....remember I got 2.73 gearing, maybe it's not so bad after all. they Team Camaro guys told me its perfect for ricer killing, since they prefer "from a roll racing".

anyway I went from a standstill against the Dakota 5.9 R/T, and since my tach stoppped, combined with the low grip old style tires I had a bad launch(read: 25 feet of rubber and tire spin) but once I hooked up I was reeling him in like a 1/4 pound bass. until a car pulled out in front of him so he called foul.....
