A/C Heater control heads

I have a question on changing heater control heads. I have a 2003 2500 crew cab with rear defroster and the heater control head is the manual slide dual zone tempature control, is it possibe to change this unit for an electronic heater control unit from a Escalade or Denali? Thanks

The automatic temperature control head is part of a lot of other hardware and electronics, so I doubt you could just swap in the head and have automatic climate control. For one, there is at least one temperature sensor somewhere, and I bet it's not in the control unit. It's probably in the cab somewhere.
