Ok i was just wondering if anyone new why the intakes get warm? is if because of just the engine heat or can the air running through the ducting cause it to heat up as well. thanks.

The underhood temps can get up above 160 degrees so that is why it heats up, anything in a sustained tempature enviroment will try to equalize.

The throttlebody has a coolant line going through it. In warmer states FLA to CA you can unhook it but where it freezes or gets real cold its no a good idea.
