I finally got around to putting Zaino on the truck today. Z1 and two coats of Z2. The truck is just smileing. It looks sharp.

How many on the forum use Zaino?

What is your favorite polish/wax?

I use it on my truck. Oh what a shine!! It also protected it when a kids bikes handlebar rubbed against the drivers door. All the rubber came right off. No marks at all left behind!!!

I love the stuff.

I started using Zaino this summer on the new truck and wifes Camry....have never seen shine that good..my favorite part is the ease with which the stuff goes on and off....especially the second third and beyond coats...

I have used it since last summer. It is great!! The best part is, in the winter I can wash and not even have to dry and it looks better than anyone elses vehicle. My truck cleans up and shines so nice now that I actually like my black truck again. The first time you use it is a kinda tough, but after that it is easy. Especially when you get to just wash and go, and it looks like you spent hours waxing.

Wow, what a sweet looking truck. What kind of body lift do you have? Do you have auto track or a t-case lever. I don't have auto-track and I am wondering how a body lift would affect my t-case lever.

I use it on my Corvette, but the old paint on the Suburban and my wife's Nissan only get Mother's paste a couple times a year.

Had Zaino on my '99 GMC Xcab and WOW did it look good.  Alot easier to keep clean as well.

I wanna try Turtle Wax whenever I get a Truck (worth polishing or waxing LOL)

Has anybody used Turtle Wax before? Namely Emerald series?

Thanks for the compliment! :)I hav push button with auto trac. My lift is a Trailmaster. Not sure what goes on when a lever is involved. If you make a post to "Neil99z71" he will tell you. He has a reg. cab SB with a lever and a body lift. He installed his lift himself, so he would know for sure.

General,

Haven't used Emerald Series Turtle Wax myself, but most of the "over the counter" higher end waxes should be pretty comparable...by that I mean Turtle Wax's good stuff, Maguire's, Mother's, etc.  Stay away from anything that sounds too good to be true...such as "cleans, polishes, restores damaged paint to better than new" etc....  It should at least require a little elbow grease in my opinion.
