hmm so i picked up a 2003 LS 1500 awd ext cab... 4.8 with 35k for 15k out the door.

 

I had to drive a bit but I think i got a deal. Not ONE scratch or nick on it.

 

Immaculate...

 

some questions.

 

1. brakes a bit squishy. Any way to beef em up? Ill put new fluid in soon also and bleed em.

 

2. Steering is a bit loose (i have no clue, im used to cars being very responsive, Stealth and 3000gt). These things steering ratio's just arent that high i take it?

 

3. Any known probs i should look out for?

Welcome! The only advice on the brakes I can give would be to flush the system and bleed them like you said. Make sure the pads are good and thick. The steering on yours is going to be a little different than on a car. Not quite as responsive. The 4x2 trucks have rack-and-pinion steering which is a little tighter.

you could always replace the brake lines with stainless steel ones.

Ditto on the brake lines, others have tried them with good success, they are on my wish list, which is pretty long...
