Posting photos here?

I'd like to post a pic but cant. Do I need to wait to upload directly on this site? If so why? Plan on being here for awhile

Why cant you?....Just host the picture on something like Photobucket..its free...and post away.....copy and paste the IMG code directly into the thread and off ya go

Never done it that way, I'd like to upload directly to here via -file browse- to avoid everyone else haveing to click on a link to see the photos.

You can't upload directly. Do EXACTLY as ChevyMan said. Get a free image hosting service, then use the editing tools HERE to paste in the link in the editor, using the tools HERE, to get your photo to show up in the message. You'll see an IMG button while in the editor. You click on that button, you paste in the photo service's URL that it gave you, and this code will show (without the blanks I inserted). [img ]http://www.picturetrail.com/your_name_here[ /IMG]. After you do that, you'll get an image to pop into the message like this:

You *can* post here. Upload a pic to the garage, which makes it show there, and then link to it from here to there, as in this post:

VERY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope there's enough server space! Some of these guys post rather HUGE images. On the other hand, maybe the Garage automatically knocks them down to a manageable size.

O.k, here goes nothing. Its 100k max so I made it 99k in pshop.

Like the others said...if you want the photo to show up in the body of the message, you have to upload your pictures to a hosting site like Photobucket or Car Domain (both are free). Then use the button to post it here...

ChevyMan23...who did your sig, looks good.
