Straight front end?

I was looking at my font end yesterday because I'm getting ready to put my 285/75/16 with the python rims on today, I noticed that on the left side of the truck I only have a little more then two fingers clearance to the bumper/skirting but on the right side I have more then 3 fingers clearance, does this mean that my front end isn't straight? Shouldn't they be the same distance to the tire?  Also I noticed that my Tail gate on the right side doesn't sit flush with the truck. it's not off by much but it's not flush like the left side. I'm wondering now if the truck has been hit. I bought it used.

My bumper is a little lower on the driver side.  I think its just a fluke thing.
