OK, I know my Silverado isn't the best looking thing out there, but...

I saw a Subaru Tribeca this morning. YUCK! UGLY!

and I wish Lincoln / Mercury would get over those ugly sewer grate grills.

Here is my top 3 visual offenders.

Number 3- Honda Element, this one needs no further explaination.

Number 2- Ponitac Aztek -

Number 1- The Toyota stepside bed design, new for 03. Makes me want to vomit and wonder ... who thought that up? The rest of the truck wasn't that bad, but the stepside bed is horrible.

My wife owns an Element and for what it's worth, it's really not a bad vehicle in both looks and operation. IMHO, the Scion XB is way uglier, cheaper feeling and riding than the Element.

I'll have to register my vote for the Subaru Tribeca. Yuk, what were they thinking? Who was in their focus group voting on different designs? My dad has owned several Subaru's in the past 20 years, and he even thinks it's ugly!

The Aztek would get my second vote. You don't see too many of them on the road any more? Too embarassed to drive them?

I think Silverados are Awesome looking!

I'm not a fan of anything coming from Toyota (they all look like aliens with those head and tail lights \ /, or like an automotive wedgie...) and Honda (those windshields are massive), I kinda liked the Aztec (at least they tried to be different). And that Tribeca thing... I'm at loss for words, and that's really bad.

That is what I was trying to find a picture of when I found the Element pic!

I did not know they were a Scion. I'm with you, I can deal with the Element but that thing...

Sorry Ray.

I would have to say the Honda Element, followed closely by the Aztek.

You guys must be forgetting AMC's offerings from the 70's.

The Pacer? Wow...What a looker.

But it had nothing on the Gremlin.

As for the Aztec...Yeah, it's ugly, but it's actually a pretty neat little vehicle despite that (once you got in it and used it), which is probably why it sold the number it did.

Not that I'd own one or anything.

Anyone ever notice that the media doesn't make a big deal out of ugly foreign cars but make a huge deal out of anything American made that is ugly. For example, look at the Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix. Everyone complains about the Vibe but I don't hear anything about the Toyota Matrix it is the same exact body and drivetrain. Yes folks, GM worked together with Toyota on that ugly POS.

It's no biggie. To be honest, I hate driving that thing on long trips. Compared to the center armrest on my Chevy, the Element's are freakishly low and the seats are uncomfortable which is par for the course on most Japanese vehicles. A stiff wind will blow it all over the road and it has a tremendous amount of torque steer.
