Just ordered Wait4me

Hey guys,

I just placed my order for my "Wait4Me" tune. I asked for half power increase and half gas mileage increase. I also told him I will be running 93 octance, to firm up the shifts, and remove all the torque management that can be safely removed. My tire size is stock and rear end gear ratio. Can anybody tell how much if a difference this gonna make? I can't wait for it to get here! Also, does anybody know if I will have to do the crank re-learn procedure?

Thanks,

Chad

I just went to the Avalanche meet in Indiana, and got that very tune and the improved Towing on the tow haul button. I Love It! At 30mph it launches and under 50% throttle I get aruond 2-3 mpg better. Sounds better and shifts allot better. See the posts on the Avalance site. Best 150 I have spent.

Thanks for the info! That's what I am looking for! I can't wait!

check out WWW.ChevyAvalancheFanclub.com

look for the Meetings tab, then click on Indiana and then look for the Jesse Bubb links. One for Meet, one for pictures and posts after the meet. and several on Jesse bubb(owner of Wait4me performance).

Enjoy.

Howdy,

I have had my W4ME tune for about a month and a half. It is the best improvement in performance for the money that I have ever had. It is so much better than the handheld programmers. I ran it for about a month and a half before the check engine light came on. I took it to the dealer this morning and had the crank relearn done. Took about 10 minutes and cost $23. I think you will be happy when you get your tune. Have a goodun!!!!

It's best to get it done. The PCM stores this variation and if your using a replacement PCM it will be different. It might not be enough to turn on the SES light, but still different.

Also, how come with the Westers tune you don't have to do the crank re-learn? On my '04 I had a westers tune and it ran fine without it and no SES light.

It was close enough to not set the light and Yes any gm dealer can do it. Check local garages too. Some scanners are capable of doing this also.

Howdy,

per the technician at my dealership, it takes a certain number of start ups and cool down cycles to trigger the check engine light. I ran mine for about a month and a half before it came on. After having had it done, my truck runs even better. It only cost $23 and was worth every cent. It only took about 10 minutes to do the relearn. It will be money well spent. I am totally happy with my W4ME tune. I think that it is a bargain. Have a goodun!!!

Howdy,

Hang in there. When I ordered mine, it only took 8 days for it to arrive and that included a week end. The wait will be well worth it. You are in for a fist full of fun when you get it. Have a goodun!!! :driving:
