hey, well i'm 50 and was with the...i don't even like to say the name anymore! Ford for 9 yrs and made 12 warranty trips to the shop. Before '97 I was with Nissan and Nissan rocks for quality and dependability. 14 yrs driving a Nissan with only 1 trip to the shop for any warranty repair. Remarkable!

Tue, May 9th I traded my 2004 F250 Lariat crew 6.0 diesel Fx4 long bed with a very nice cab high shell and 29,000 miles. The trucks in AK are more expensive but I think I came away with a very good deal. I needed the cash and my very friendly and cool salesperson finally found a truck with power windows and keyless entry. The truck happen to be in the old history dept; hadn't been moved so it was marked down. Traded across for the Sierra 1500 4wd ext cab sle 1. It happen to have the light duty power pkg, sliding rear window, 17" polished aluminum wheels. I was hoping for stealth grey, black or green but ended up with grey metallic and they sent out a check for 3 grand. I think I made out alright.

I really feel good driving around in a GMC regardless of any problems that might occur. I really miss the extra room and height of a crew cab. About a 9" difference in height and almost a 2 feet diff in width. Well i went from leather seats back to cloth so it looks like I'm back to the dog hair remover until I get some seat covers that fit.

Nice to be here and really enjoy the knowledge that these forums can bring. By the way....St. Louis Cardinals and Albert Pujols is thee.........distroyer

It hadn't been moved so it was marked down. Traded across for my Sierra 1500 4wd ext cab sle 1. power windows, locks keyless entry, tow pkg sliding rear window. heated mirrors. Anyway, some of those features were not available but this was the truck for the pkg deal. Didn't care too much for the grey and was hoping for black or green but good enough. I came away with 3 grand for cash back. I think I made out alright.

Just really glad to be into my first GMC. My dad will be happy about that as he's in CAlif and always driven GM. I had 5 leaking injectors before 8,000 miles and the rotors needed replacing the other day and I was at 28,000 miles. what a joke.

Really miss the extra room and height of a crew cab but needed to down size. Hope all is well and time to get fishin.... :driving:

haha sorry! If you go to very top of bar on the page where the help button is, you'll see a button that says Garage. There all the members keep photos and info on upgrades and such of all their rides. My fav part about the forum definatly.
