BowtieEarl Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 I ordered my truck about 6 weeks ago, and I called the dealership the other day to check on the progress and the salesman told me it just moved to stage four. I'm not familiar with this, what do the stages mean?

Just a guess though. I could be wrong
MS3DALE Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 I've worked at GM dealerships for over 16 years now and I've never heard of any "stages". I do know that all the trucks I've ordered in the past have taken at least 4 months, The '97 K1500 I ordered took almost 6 months!

Sounds more like they transferred an existing vechicle from another dealership. When I ordered my truck in 2002, took 6 weeks.

Curious to know what he says.
