I don't know what to do...

I found a 2003 Silverado at a local dealer with 91,200 miles for $17k today. It's an ECSB, Z71, 5.3, towing package, rear window defogger, power doors/locks/mirrors/driver's seat, foglights; the truck is red in color. I have a 2001 Silverado ECSB, Z71, black, power doors/locks/mirrors, tow hitch, bedliner, 4.8, with 95k on it.

Should I try to go after the 2003 or just keep my 01? Any input you guys have is appreciated!

Sir,

If you like your old truck, keep it. If you don't still enjoy it, get the newer one. What could be simpler?

If you like the truck you have keep it......and besides the 03 is going to have the crappy throttle by wire system. IT sucks compared to the wire system you have now.

First, you know your truck. With those miles, you may be buying someone elses headaches.

Second, that is WAY too much money for a truck with that age and miles. A place around here sells 05's and 06's with the same options with 10k-15k miles for $22,500 every day. He buy-bids GM employee trucks from a large dealer that sells 25-30 new GM employee trucks every month. They are typically in like new condition and you can just about pick what you want and in a few weeks, he will find it.

Third, the nose on your truck looks a LOT better than that 093 model! ;)

If the '03 had less miles on it I'd say get it,but man 91,000 miles on an '03!

That thing never sat still,Just seems like alot of miles for the year and asking price to me,I'd keep your '01.

For what it will cost to sell your and buy that one, I would personally mod the truck I already had. You also have no idea of the maintenance history of the other truck.

Keep yours, what is the advantage to going with the other truck, you're almost in the same neighborhood on mileage.

That is NOT a good deal on that truck.....I have almost that exact same truck with the Z71 and i bought it with 45,000mi on it for $18,000...keep looking!
