Good question. Most to all of what I hear in internet land is to have 212 trans temp to boil off the water. That`s where my earlier comment was coming from. -

I popped mine out several weeks ago and cleaned it with CRC MAF Sensor cleaner. 53k miles and probably had never been cleaned. -
