Thinking about Subs

Well guys i am finally getting tired of having no bass in my truck but i cant put a downfire box in because i have a short box and no space for anything but an 8"

 

I was considering purchasing an Infinity Basslink T and installing it behind the rear seat against the back wall or on the bottom of the back seat and hide the wires inside the seat so i can have the seat up and fire the bass into the front of the cab or have the seat down so i can have a basic downfire.

 

I guess my questions are:

1. Has anybody heard a BassLink T?

2. Will placing it behind the rear seat muffle it to much?

3. What do ya'll think about the Seat idea? Is it doable? will it sound good?

4. Am i nuts?

You're not crazy. I'd go for it. Sounds like a nice package.

 

edit: There's no such thing as muffling *bass*. As long as there's a good air path for the sound to eventually make its way out, it'll be just as good as if it were out in the open.
