Overdrive problem

Hi I have a 1998 Silverado and when driving between speeds of 50-80 K/H sometimes the overdrive slips in and out with the rpms flucuating.

any suggestions or ideas to check?

probably normal.

 

those are pretty low speeds for overdrive to stay engaged, you might also just be feeling the TC clutch kicking in and out.

 

I'd drive it in 3rd range at those speeds.

It just seemed to start recently I have had the truck for a few years and only noticed it the past couple of weeks. Fluid seems fine.
