Engine problem

I have a 1995 GMC Z71 350 auto it has 151000 miles on it. I hear a noise coming from the engine when i manually give it gas on the right side of the engine under the valve pan cover gasket it sounds like a slappin sound under their. what could this be. would lucas oil help this. the truck dosen't smoke at all. need help
