i've had a wierd flapping/rubbing etc. noise coming from my passenger side under the glove box area since i bought my truck 3 months ago. can hear it when i accelerate from a stop, then goes away after a few seconds. not the tires rubbing, maybe a vent ducting loose? anybody else with this.

Look underneath the truck in the wheel-wells behind the front tire and look to see if the rubber flap that is attached to the fenders with clips has come loose. Not sure if that's it, but it would be something to check. This hasn't happend on this truck, but I've had other vehicles (GM and Toyota) that have had the clips break, the rubber tear, or the clips fell out) and caused the sound you described.

I had the same problem when mine was new. It seems that in some cases, the inner fender push clips come loose and allow the plastic fender liner to flap and buzz. Push them in and see if that helps.
