98 GMC Jimmy Fuel Filter

I want to change my sister's 98 GMC Jimmy 4-Door 4x4's fuel filter before we leave for Utica this weekend...i looked it up online and didnt recognize the other end of the filter...looks like a fitting.

Anybody ever change one? Is it easy?

If it's like the '88 I had, I don't remember anything special about it.

  I haven’t gotten the engine broken down yet to determine exactly but I do know the cam is done and there was misfire in 2 cylinders. While driving; check engine light blinking, stabilitrak flashing on and off and the oil PSI jumped to around 55-60 PSI. This of course after I had to deal with the 8L90 shudder that the dealer couldn’t figure out so I fixed that. If I keep the truck a built L8T is replacing the L86. The DoD/AFM kills these engines.

  I have the later version of this where it bypasses the radiator and only goes to the AC Condenser. I also have Speed Engineering true dual exhaust with their long tube headers. My trans got to 220 today as the 3" crossover pipe that runs directly under the trans pan is about 1mm away from it. I also have the Sure cool mod done. Had anyone installed a tru-cool 40k or mishimoto trans cooler? IF so, did you bypass the factory cooler or just run it inline after the factory cooler? I need to get these temps under control.
