Changing gears

Just bought a new 06 w/t with 4.3 standard shift and 323 gears. I purchased for fuel economy then I found a real deal on a bigger boat. I drive 50 miles a day to work so I have to keep fuel cost in mind. It tows good on the highway but coming up the ramp it really struggles. What would have to be changed to upgrade the gears and how much should it cost? I get 23-24 HWY what would you say a 323 to 373 cost in milage? It being a standard I look to be replacing a clutch also ,any reccommendations there?

No need to replace the clutch when changing from 3.23 to 3.73 gears. In fact, the clutch will be stressed less with the 3.73 gears when towing.

How big and heavy is the boat with the trailer? The best vehicle for towing a good size boat is a part time 4WD truck with selectable low range. You always want to pull a heavy boat out of water in low range. This way, you are doubling the torque, and the whole precess is efortless.

Note: I guess the boat is not that big, as there ar eno good deals on big boats these days!

Prices of boats are absolutely ridiculous! And i live in florida, where the boats are generally cheaper than elsewhere.
