6 disc head unit in 06

I have a 06 SLE Sierra. It has the non bose system, with only a 1 cd player head unit. I know the system in general is really weak, it sucks actually, but i was wondering if GM 6 disc in dash head unit would work. Which models would work ?? It would be nice to at least hold 6 cd's in the mean time, before i figure out what im doing with the system.
