2500HD Ordered

I posted this earlier but it disappeared. I ordered a 2500HD on 4/26. It is a Extended Cab, Long Box, Duramax, Allison, LS with nearly all of the LT options Onyxn Black. The dealer told me week before last it would be built the week of 6/4 and last week it had been moved to 5/28. Today they said it was still on their list for the week of 5/28. From all I have heard and read this would set some kind of record to get it in that short a time. The only thing I can think of is the time to switch over to the 2002s is fast approaching. I am going to keep my fingers crossed.

I was just wondering if this truck is a 4x4? If so, you saved yourself some trouble by ordering it later in the model year. Up until Feburary or March all ext cab/long bed 4x4 trucks came with a two piece driveshaft that was causing vibration problems. All trucks since then come with a one piece aluminim shaft that is huge. I guess good things do come to those who wait....

I hope your build date holds up.

No it is not a 4x4. I don't get off the road enough to justify a 4x4.It would be nice but for the price I decided not to do that and settled for the locking dif.
