Long Haired Daschund

We lost our little girl yesterday, Maggy. She was only 4 months old. She got a hold of an advil bottle and ate 6-8 pills and she was 9 pounds. The advil destroyed her kidneys and there wasnt any chance of saving them, so we had to put her down. It has hit me really hard because I was the one that left the advil on the end table with the cap half on.

Im looking for another one. If any one knows of any long haired daschund puppies for sale or will be for sale please let me know. I am in Alaska though and will pay shipping.

Im sorry to hear about your loss, it is never easy

I know your emotions are still high, but I don't recommend having any animal shipped like that. I'm sure you will find another friend locally

Sorry for you loss. I also had to put my dog down yesterday morning. He was a 9 year old boxer (awesome dog). He was my wife's and I baby, and he was just like our kid. It has been a rough 24 hours. Again sorry for your loss.

Sorry about that, it always is tough loosing a pet. We had a shor haired one, and it was really tough when we had to put her to sleep. At least, she isn't suffering anymore. Good luck finding a new dog.

I am SO SORRY about your puppy passing away. It broke my heart to read your post.

Congratulations on your NEW puppy though. I hope she has a long and happy life.

I have a Dachshund named The Joey. He is 7 years old and just about the BEST friend a man could ever ask for. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost him.

Take care of your new puppy, and remember the passed one.

Thanks everyone. The new puppy is working out good, we named her Honey and I have called her Maggy on accident a couple times. We ended up barring Maggy in the back yard next to the house, she is actually wrapped up in one of my baby blankets. We miss Maggy alot but I am a believer of when you lose something, the easiest way to get over it is get another one.
