Well, it's gone, and it had to be one of the saddest moments of my life watching her drive away.

Leaning toward a Tahoe right now but the search has just begun.

I have posted a few items I have left laying around to sell in the market place here: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57836

I'll continue to lurk here in the HD section to see how things are going.

Thanks to all those that helped me when in need! This is one of the best forums I've belonged to.

Peace, Love, & Chicken Grease!!!!!

Can we get a' amen for understatement of the year!

Seriously though, without Wingnuts posts this sight would be no better than a cold dank men's room at a shady roadside gas station, or it could flourish into the very best thing that ever happened to modern man. It's a 50/50 shot really.

Why did you sell? Just curious...

A few reasons added up.

1st is that I purchased the truck to tow my '75 Landcruiser to and from Off Road Parks. The LC is now streetable (minus the beadlock wheels) and I don't need to tow.

2nd is the fluctuation in gas prices. As a daily driver just hauling my ass to and from work, it was a little rediculous.

3rd was the size of the truck. I can't tell you how many dings and scraps were picked up in the parking garage at work. BTW, the spaces in the garage are about 2.5' too short for the truck. So that left my nose or tail sticking out in the aisle of the garage.

4th was the need for a change. It may sound odd to some, but monotony was setting in with my whole routine and it was time for a change somewhere. Could've gotten rid of the old lady, but I've heard that can get really expensive!

I hear you on the monotamy of driving the same thing. I have been looking at the trailblazers lately. The 5.3 in the reg tb sounds pretty nice.

I vote that there should be a prize at 10,000 posts and it should read.

Sorry to hear that ........ thanks for the coupon on that Diamondback bed cover.

Had a 2000 Tahoe before this one...... 135,000 miles on it and only changed the oil. But I digress - you'll be back in a truck before too long. Once you own one you're infected and you know the only cure....
