Shocks For My Truck

Alright guys i know this has been done to death but i am having huge amounts of trouble finding shocks for my 2wd truck with T-Bars. i kinda found dimensions but any model numbers would be appreciated.

David, I would suggest that you look at KYB. Their OE Replacement is a Monotube gas shock and will provide a smooth OE type ride. The Mono Max is their premium high pres gas shock which is much heavier than the std OE Replacement. However, the ride is not too stiff and in most cases customers with trucks or SUVs like the ride better.

KYB is a very high quality product that offers some real quality features that other shock companies do not. I.E. The cylinders contain no welds as well as the mounting ends. All solid cylinders mean no welding for the seal to run on.

I work for CARQUEST and we recently made the change to KYB and have been very happy with the quality. Most of the country has changed but we are still in progress of moving from Gabriel in some locations. If you have a CQ store near near, you can check with them.

Pro Comp ES9000 shocks are very similar to RSX's compair them...

just so you know, bilstein 5100's are only applicable to lifted trucks. the yellow and blue bilstein HD's are the same shock with the same internals for stock trucks.

i've got rs9000x's on my truck and love 'em.

Those of you with autoride, how have you managed the computer set codes when the new shocks don't have the connector for the autoride sensor?

just talked to ORU, they will be the yellow and blue bilsteins, the silver anodized with black boots are only for lifted apps. same shock internally and functionally.
