how do you know if you have an HD or not?

i know this is going to make me look stupid, but i was wondering how to tell if you have a 1500 or a 1500HD? My window sticker doesnt say 1500HD, but when i set up my owner's webpage and put my VIN in, it came up as listing my truck as an 1500HD. Most of the HD's i have seen have the "1500HD" emblem on the side of the truck, mine doesnt have an emblem at all.

I am not sure GM still made the 1500 HD in 06. The original 1500 HD was basically a 3/4 ton frame with a softer suspension. It had a std length bed, 8 lug wheels ( I think) and a 6.0L as std equip. You may have a 1500 crew cab with a HD tow pkg, which includes an aux trans cooler, hitch, wiring, possibly extra cooling capacity and higher amp battery.
