Why is it that sometimes, when people add a picture to their post, the picture ends up too big and covers a portion of the next reply to the post? Is there anything that can be done to prevent this or is a flaw of the system? ???

I have never seen this, I have seen where a pic makes the page to wide and u have to pan over to read the text but never cover?

where is this post?

A great example of this (on my computer anyway) is the post called "Fumigation anyone?" The initial post has a picture of hoot's propane tank in his truck. That picture entirely covers the first response from Kansas Kid. I am looking at this on a 21" monitor so that shouldn't be the problem. I'm using Netscape Navigator for my browser. ???

Sorry Memphis...I couldn't recreate your problem...Sounds like a GM dealer, huh.. :sigh:

Anyway I used both Netscape and IE to pull up that post and did not see your issue.  I did notice the scrolling effect though caused by the image being too wide for the forum's frame.

You may want to adjust you video setting and maybe even try a different video driver just as a test.  I have found that with cetain video drivers that my MS scrolley mouse will pixelate an image as I rotate through.

Just a thought.

Thanks guys. I just tried again using Internet Explorer instead of Netscape and the pictures stay inside the post boxes just like they should. So, it must be something wrong with a setting in Netscape for me. No big deal, I was just curious.

Yes, it is a Netscape problem.  Mervz doesn't really know what the actual problem is, he is thinking it is not on our end, rather the program for the forum has some sort of bug in it.  I use IE and have never come across this, but have heard of several users complain about this.  As soon as a fix becomes available, you can be sure we will implement it!

I just tried using Netscape and opened the fumigation post.  I see what you are talking about, that is definately a problem!  All I can really tell you to do is use IE for the time being.
