Honestly i havent even filled the truck up all the way yet and checked it. I was just seeing if air filter or the throttle body spacers really helped or if there was a programmer i could get. I wasa hopeing there was some way i could get it to get like 17 around town. I have read good and bad about the air raid stuff so i dont know.

Sorry but it's a truck and you should have known and be prepared for how much it drinks. Everyone or alsmost everyone wants to get better gas milliage as if it's a car. It's 2 tons of steel made to pull or carry heavy weight and that's it. Everyone always neglects to think of going easy on the pedal to accelerate and keep it under 2000 rpm especially the 5.7L engines. I drive my 99 Suburban at 60mph (speed limit) mostly highway and I manage to do between 600-650 miles per 36 US gallon. All I did was use synthetic lubes all over, change plugs and wires to high end quality, air intake mod and dual exhaust. Yeah I like speed also and once in a while I get her up over 100mph easily and watch the dollars fly out the tail pipes.

Cheers

John
