Best Sound package for 2500 4 dr.

Have a 2005 Chevrolet 2500 4 dr. pickup, ya'll have any suggestions on some good subs and amp that could be easily hidden ???

Get a set of 12" subs and a downward firing box, as much crap as they've been taking, the sony Xplode subs are pretty good, not the round one... those are worthless... the pentagon shaped Xplodes are good, and they make the 12" in a DVC with aluminum cones, get a pair of those with a P8002 Rockford amp that you can mount to the back wall, with this setup... have fun trying to breathe when it's turned up.

 

RMS for the 12" aluminumed coned DVC subs is 400W I believe, peak it 1300

 

The P8002 is 2 ohm stable in stereo and will push 400W RMS per channel when wired in 2 ohm stereo.

Alpine Type E subs are good for the price. Infinity Perfect 10.1's are supposed to be off the hook, I'd say those will rock the truck. As far as amps go, Rockford seems to be solid. Alpine and Kicker are a little better though, imo

Ended up going with (2) JL Audio 12" w3v2, Alpine R650 amp, Alpine deck with Iplug.

Subs are in a custom box behind rear seat. setup sounds great.
