Make sure they flush the whole system, cooler included to get out all the pieces parts. Yes they should know to do that but it doesn't hurt to remind them.

Did you take that out of there before bringing it in? If they see an alteration to the PCM, they could (if they wanted to be hardasses about it) say that the shifting programs were modified and that caused the failure.

No, I didn't take it out. And as far as I know, it would be pretty difficult for them to see that stuff, as they'd have to be specifically looking for it. Then they'd have to prove that it's what caused the failure. The AWD's are sh*tting transmissions left and right all over the country...It's a very common thing over on TrailblazerSS.com.
