Squeaky Door

My 99 Sierra driver door will not stop squeaking. I've sprayed WD40 on all moving parts I see. What am I missing?

I've had better luck with a silicone-based spray lube, or regular engine oil. Otherwise it could be you have a bad hinge pin.

my old sonoma did that. i put a genourous amount of Lithium Grease on the hinges and it would go away for nearly 6 months before i had to add a little more

WD40 is more of a moisture displacer than a lube.

Go with the lithium or silicone. And if there are any springs in the hinge, spray those too.
