Superchargers

Hey guys, I own a 2006 GMC Sierra Crew Z71 with a 5.3. I would like to add a supercharger to have overall better performance on the street, off the road and towing, what would do you guys recommend i do?

I would go with a procharger setup they seem to make the most power, and there the cheapest considering what you get. With a procharger you can always upgrade to a larger supercharger and make even more power. They claim a 55% to 65% power increase over stock, not bad for a bolt on kit.

Thanks for your help! I've also been looking at Kenne Bell superchargers, are those any good?

I know the new mustang cobras come with them and those mustangs can make alot of power with them. I think they're a little on the more expensive side though.

Put dollars aside to upgrade your tranny and rear end parts as well as I've read many a threads about grenading rear end parts and tranny's w/aftermarket superchargers and turbos.

The 5.3 stock driveline is not set up to handle the additonal torque
