It's hard to believe that I have been so inspired by the creators of this site and especially the members that I have posted 8000 times!

I want to thank everyone here that has been a supporting member and vendor. You guys make this site such a great place to spend an hour or so every day!!!

It has been great to be able to Moderate here!

Thanks to everyone...

I think a thank you goes to you as well Shane. Over the years, since back in February of '01 when I joined up here, as a snot-nosed 16 year old punk, all the way up to today, you've been a role model for alot of us (especially me!).

You're professionalism and conduct as a Moderator has always been something I looked up to.

Those 8000 posts are also a testament to the vast amount of valuable knowledge you've shared with countless people.

So a Thanks and a congrats to you shane. :chevrolet: have one on me!

Yup.

While I may be post whoring and thread jacking my way up the "top posters" list...I average about 1 useful post out of 14...Your average is more like 13 or 14 :P

Congrats man :troll:

And Jeremy, you're still a punk. Just with less snot. :P

8k posts, I might see that in my life time. I agree with Wingnut.

Now for that magical 10k post shouldn't one get a free GM-Trucks T shirt? :chevrolet:

Congrats, it is nice to look back and see where we were and how far we've come- both as a site and individually with what we knew and what we know now.

I absolutly love this site.

I jumped ship from s10forum.com back in 05 when i bought my truck. I was a member of S10forum.com for the longest time, as it was the only real S-Series site that i knew of. I finally cancelled my registration when a 15 year old kid came on showing plans on building a homemade turbocharger out of an old leaf blower.

The overall age of this site, to me...appears to be 25-25...with the older elders watching over us with their knowledge...its great! Where else can you find a site that has actual ASE Certified Mechanics helping you along the way!

I hope this website lasts forever. I like this more than anything on the internet.

What's so bad about that? I would have stuck around to see that one.

Me too. I'd have been giving him tips and advice.
