GMC FRONT BUMPER RAISING

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ABOUT RAISING THE FRONT BUMPER TO THROW OUT THAT STUPID FILLER STRIP BETWEEN THE GRILL SHELL AND THE BUMPER.I WAS JUST GOING TO BUY A BRACKET KIT FROM A 4 WHEEL DRIVE SHOP AND MODIFY IT TO RAISE THE BUMPER ONLY ENOUGH TO MAKE IT LOOK RIGHT.

ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT.

i own a 01 3500 seirra and i upgraded my front end to an 05 model

i hade to custom make new brakets to hold the new bumper i have my own body shop and crew In SAUDI ARABIA

anyhow im not sure about your truck but i did lift my bumper a bit so there will be no gaps(the plastic thing between the grill) and the bumper by fabrcating the bumper brackets

it looks sweet i hope that gives you help

 

Opps i almost forgot you would have to remove the front towoing hooks coz the plastic lower bumper will hit them

again on 3500HD truck the hooks are very big not sure whats on your truck
