Do any of you guys know the gm code for 3.73s or 4.11s. I just bought the truck this weekend. It is a chevy crewcab LT fully loaded with leather, 60,000 miles. It has a 3" lift and 33x12.50 bf tires on it. I love the power of the 8.1, unbelievable campared to my 99 5.3 I traded in. Its like going from a 4 cylinder to a V8, so needless to say I am way impressed with this truck. I got real lucky and found one only 60 miles from me. I took my 24' car trailer and picked up a car about 20 miles from me. I smiled the whole way home, truck was not even working, didnt even know anything was behind me, it accelerated with ease from a stop. When the truck is empty from a dead stop it just rakes havac on the tires in first gear, Any way im just wonder what I have for gears. I want to do a tune from wait4meperformance, and air intake and magnaflow muffler with dual tales. The truck seems to have plenty of power but a little more never hurts. :)

I would think 4:11

Did someone place the original window sticker in the glove box by chance.

That should be a law, :) it makes it easy to know what the truck came with.
