Dual Exhaust help

Hello all,

I recently installed a cat back exhaust system with two flowmaster 50s. I have run flowmaster 50s before on other trucks and don't remember them being that loud inside the cab. I am looking for an inexpensive way to cut down on the noise inside the cab. I would like to get away with not having to buy 70 series or any other mufflers because I don't have the $. I just had an H pipe installed in front of the mufflers to mellow and smooth it out somewhat. It helped but the inside resonance is still more than I'm looking for. Any inexpensive ideas on how I could cut down on inside noise.

Thanks!

I thought the 50 series were for the big block 454s and whatnot? Cant remember exactly. If that is the case, find someone to buy them from you and get another style.

Any ideas on something that would sound similar to Flowmaster 50s outside but be a little quieter inside. I'm considering a 2 in 2 out flowmaster 50. I think that would be a little bit softer because there wouldn't be two mufflers under there. Any thoughts?

i wanted to try to get dual on mine but the guy at the muffler shop said i could not. Umm all i can think off the cut the nosie out is get dynomate and lay that on the floor of the truck but that is a bit costly. Humm that all i can think of

yea, I have a single Magnaflow and the cab drone is a little loud. I think thats pretty much part of the bargin though.

From what I've been able to see dynamat(sp) is pretty much the best way to go. Doesn't it just replace existing carpet mat?
