Rear Differential Cover bolt torque specifications

I am servicing my rear differential on my 2003 Silverado 1/2ton Z71. Does anyone know the correct torque specifications on the rear diff cover bolts? My manual has everything except that. I appreciate anyone's help.

According to the Haynes manual I have, the torque spec for the differential cover bolts are 30 Ft/Lbs.

Thanks for this info. I have a Haynes manual also, and couldn't find it anywhere. I looked in the front with all of the torque specs, and it is not in mine. Do you mind if I ask where you found it in the manual?

If you trust anything other than the Factory Service Manual your gambling. Get the FSM.

Did mine to 30 as above, never leaked a drop.

These Specs are at the beginning of each chapter. For the Rear Differential, I believe it is chapter 8...I looked in the index for differential at the back of the book...it will refer you to the page that the removal and installation procedure is...go to the beginning of that chapter and there is a page of important information...including the torque specification for the differential cover bolts.
