need help w/ LED light bar

i just bought one of those LED light bars that goes in between your bumper and tailgate. its the fire and ice one on stylinconcepts.com it only came with this diagram that shows the plug it came with. i look3ed at it myself but i cant figure out where to plug it in. Theres a harness underneath my truck next to the spare tire, but it doesnt fit, there are too many plugs there already and the ends dont match up- so it wouldnt fit anyway. it also came with a single white wire for the reverse lights, i figure this can be spliced in somewhere (behind the tailight?). anyone have any experience with these? any help would be appreciated. i drive a 2005 silverado z-71.

I think i comes with a trailer harness , i hard wired mine in , if i remember , crawl under and open the wire case and the wires are color coded there was a wire code either in the direction or in the wire protector

I put something similar to that on my suburban. I just used my trailer light harness and plug. I just found some little connectors that fit perfectly into the trailer light plug. I put the connectors on the end of the wires and just pushed them into the plug. This way I don't mess around with my factory wiring and screw something up. The only downside is that when I am towing something I can't use my lightbar because I have to use the plug for the trailer lights.

So, make a one into two splitter. Then ya could still use both.

Although, if ya have a trailer on the back of the truck, what use is the lightbar?

ive got the trailer hook up too and i looked at that, but nothing fits. the plug that came with the light bar doesnt fit into where my trailer lights would plug in (next to the trailer hitch?). there are plugs, but none of the ends match up. im confused on what to do. i think i just need to find the right connector and itll work. but not sure.
