kosb Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I think this is a good idea. I wish GM would offer something like this. http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/2009/ford/...pied/mule1.html
GMSea97 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Toyota or Nissan have a bed with a little tool behind the rear wheels it is pretty cool too. I think all trucks should come with somesort of exterior tool box area.
67ChevyRedneck Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 When I opened up the site and saw the F-150 my first thought was "The GM Cheyenne concept had a bed like that" and sure enough, right below it was the Cheyenne concept Funny, back in '03 I thought the Cheyenne was ugly and too futuristic looking.... 4 years later, it looks like it would fit right in on the road today The titan is currently the only fullsize I know of that has bedside storage.
Wingnut Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 I think that a trunk in the bed (like the Ridgeline has) would be just plain pimpin. Just like I think the saddle pockets on the Avalanche are the greatest thing since twist-off beer caps. Biggest problem though, is with security. A small prybar will pop any of them open, and do all sorts of damage to surrounding areas. All the little locks on them do is keep honest people honest.
