When To Change Pcv Valves?

When do you people change yours? I usually change mine every 30,000, but I was thinking this is too soon?

You may not need to ever change a PCV. Most new GM's use fixed orifice PCV now.

I don't know about the new engines (2000 - up) but every time i check the pcv valve i just pull it out and shake it. If it's sounds still works, if not change it.

X2 Thats exactly what I do, every oil change.

2004 up with drive by wire have the fixed orfice and fo not need changing.
