Brake Controller

I am trading my truck in and removed the brake controller but just unplugging the large rectancle connector that plugged in to the fuse cluster under the driver side. Is this the correct way or should I have cut the wires and left the connector? Thanks Jesse

Unplug it.

Not sure if the connector will work in your next truck, if not, then cut and wires and leave it in the glove box.

But leaving it plugged in with the wires cut isn't a good idea.

I did unplug I guess I just keep to soo if it fits my new 05 ccsb
