Hemi Kill

Finally got a Hemi! I talked to the guy at a stop light that took forever, he had a black RC SB Hemi Rumble Bee. We asked what mods eachother have, only thing he had was a Flash pack from Superchips and some very loud ass straight pipes. After exchanging words there is a Toyota Celica behind us reving, probobly because the light took forever. The rumble bee guy looks around calmly and asks "I wanna see what that bowtie has, wanna run?" I said "sure, do you think that ricer back there will keep up?' He said no his wife has one. We sat around for a little while and he began cussing at the light and yelled "I need to get back to work, damnit" or something like that. Then the adjacent light turned yellow, and he yelled "get ready chevy guy" with a big s**t grin. The light turned green and we both mashed it. I heard the ricer behind us getting on it also. We were neck to neck until I pulled at 65, only a matter of feet though, I looked over and his grill was right there. The Celica was behind the Rumble Bee somewere, a few lengths. We let off at 80ish, and I hopped on the highway and he kept going and honked. The Celica, which looked decent with a body kit followed the Dodge.

It was a good race, traffic was low, it was around 2. Traction was good on my end, he spun a little bit. Im suprised I actually raced a stranger who was cool about it! Especially a Dodge guy, lots of the Dodge guys around here drive around like hard asses

I figured you maybe beat him a little more than that, but that cool at least you won. Those bumble bees are sub 15's stock, something like 14.9-14.8?

Svensk, I've been doing some reading, I guess the Superchips Flashpack really wakes up the Hemi's. Some of the guys with Rumble bees and reg cab Hemis drop .4-.5 off their 1/4 times with this alone! But yeah they run close to 15 flat stock.

The Rumble Bees area hair slower than a regular hemi. Because of the non functional hood scoop that causes more drag, and the standard 20 inch rims are what cause it to be slower than a regular Hemi. All the rumble bee is a decal, and body package. Same motor and tranny.

I flat obliterated one of those things a few days ago.

Had an even-steven race all the way to 100 with a Lightning yesterday morning too. That was a good one.

The only thing I can beat are quad cab Hemis, and any ford this side of a lightning or harley Davidson.

Soon I will have have my 92octane wait4me...soon.

Very true, Fords are no danger except the L and HD. You'll absolutely love the tune if its your first, it really wakes the truck up.

I don't have any tune yet. I don't want to make the mistake of getting an eco 87 tune and then regretting it because I want the most power I can get. I don't want to lie to myself about that. I'm also tired of the sloppy feeling 1-2 shift at low speeds.

I could not get this green Rumble to mess with me the other day! He was speeding down the highway with his fog lights on. I pulled in behind him and hit my fogs, just to piss him off. He did not want any of this GMC. I tried. I really want to demolish someone. I`ve got two Fords, when I was stock. Now, I am getting 19 mpg + and a ton of power, no one wants to play!!!

Im waiving the B.S. flag here.

I own a 2005 Crew Cab 4x4 Hemi Ram AND a 2006 Chevy crew cab 4x4 Vortec MAX

My Rams is faster, HANDS DOWN!

If you outran a hemi ram with a 5.3 chevy the guy in the dodge had NO clue how to drive or you are full of it.

My 6.0 Max cannot beat my dodge out of the hole or from a roll.

Dodge is faster, stock vs stock, hands down........

:happysad::chevy: Guess what, your 2005 crew cab 4x4 Hemi Ram is lucky if it's a high 15 second truck. Better luck next time with the semi Hemi. 2WD Daytona's run 15.6-15.7, and I'll show you a time slip from when I beat one to prove it.

In fact here you go, 15.597 ET for the Hemi Ram, and my bad run of a 15.1

And if you think that is some random time slip, here's a video of the run. Unfortunately my buddy with the camera didn't get the end.
