Thorleys Are In......

Install was fairly simple. Drivers side header goes through the top. Passenger side up from the bottom. I f**ked up the y-pipe so I had to have it fixed. Dont ask me what I was doing because I dont know. I was pissed saturday morning. Just took the truck in and told the guy to fix it.

Overall. Power off idle is most noticable. Cruising at 45mph and tip in the throttle has alot more pull to it. 3000rpm's even more power comes in and keeps on pulling. Sound. Thats a different story. It actually got quieter insde but louder outside. Still wierd to me but hey. They are working out well. I havent gotten some highway time in yet but hope to tonight.

How good are Thorleys? I am thinking going with the Dynatech with the high flow cats. I am just not sure what path I want to follow with the headers.

If Jared has Thorleys, their good

Their good headers with a great price. Around 500. That beats Dynatech's 1400ish price range. You could get Thorleys, and buy 2 cats for less than dynatechs.

I didnt change a thing in my tune. And it runs really dam well. Dynatechs are great. But the same amount of power can be had with headers that cost alot less, that are better suited for an N/A truck. Sorry but I dont buy into the 1 3/4" primary being great for a daily driven truck. Stock cats are perfectly fine. They flow very well contrary to people saying they dont. Ask any guy who has put hi-flows on their truck and they will tell you they didnt notice a dam bit of difference after the fact.

They look sweeet...I'm gettin a set.

They're a 1 5/8" primaries and 2.75" collector right?

Can you take an under shot so I can see how they connect to the y-pipe???
